Re: new baby
Wanted to ask you what utilities I should look for to use to access "Unknown" wireless networks, kinda like at beerfest, is there anything special that's needed or does windows have it's own way of doing that?

Compaq Presario 2103US & mini-PCI wireless G adaptor
I have 2103US and is considering to add Intel Pro2200 M-PCI wireless chip (WM3B2200BGM) with WPA. Just wondering what's the brand of your adaptor? Does it work fine with 2103US?

Re: Compaq Presario 2103US & mini-PCI wireless G adaptor
Sorry I took so long to get back to you, its been a bit of an ordeal getting the wireless to work. The first card I recieved had a couple of bad traces and had to be returned.

I have a XG600 Wireless Card I purchased from http://www.acortech.com/.sc/ms/dd/1108724033655691/9/nc/ee/1250/IEEE%20802%2E11G%20MINI%20Wireless%20PCI%20CARD

I had to purchase antenna's seperately, and install them in my laptop myself using the service guide, dissassembling your laptop is not for the weak of heart. but it now works, currently I'm connected up to my neighbor's wireless network. With both the PCMCIA card ad the internal wireless, just cuz I can. :)
