Vector News, Updates, and Announcements!

First off I want to thank Roger, Nick, and Daemon, for coming out, being consummate professionals and putting on an amazing show last Saturday. It was a blast having you guys out there and you showed why you guys are up and coming in this scene.

Secondly, I want to thank all of you, you came together and showed the venue that the night is viable and has your support! You impressed the owners and as a result, I’m very proud to announce that Vector V.2 is finally (and I really mean it this time) going weekly at Black Label, starting June 6th.

Thirdly, we are looking at doing a at least monthly, hopefully, bi monthly, presentation of a local scene artists at the venue. Some of you may have seen the first event for this happen a couple of weeks ago, and we are looking for other artists interested in participating in future events. If you are interested in setting up an easel, doing an industrial themed painting in front of everyone, while there is dancing and mayhem going on around you; contact us here for the details of our vision and what we would like to do.

Finally, and on not as pleasant a note, due to some non-vector related issues at a non-scene related event at Black Label, the club has decided on bowing out of allowing us to have 18+ people in the main room, as there is no practical way to guarantee that 18+ people who are under 21 are not drinking, we fought it and argued it as best as could, but it comes down to their decision.

However, fret not my baby bats and baby bolts, starting the 12th of June at the Emerald Isle a new night called “Combustion” will be starting as an after party for the ‘Ignite’ show on at least a monthly basis. It will be 18+, has all the necessary licensing and permits and will give you an outlet for your dancing needs. We will be waiting at Vector with open arms to welcome you to the 21+ scene once you cross that threshold!
