Reminder: No Vector this week. . .

Please pass the word. . . As a reminder. . .

Vector is now operating on a 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month schedule for the foreseeable future, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do look forward to seeing you next week.

Black Label
3550 S. Decatur St (Corner of Spring Mountain and Decatur)
Las Vegas, NV 89103

Saturday's The 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of the Month - Doors at 10:00pm

Free, but if you like what you experience, we have Bands, dj's and door people that need to get paid, and new music that needs to be bought so for the show a $5 Suggested Voluntary Gratuity seems fair to us. Again. . . we need your asses through the door, the owners want to see a crowded room, so show up and add to the tip jar, but most importantly show up and support the night with your enthusiasm!

21+ With I.D.

So, I have a legitimate question.

After visiting LV a couple of times, I'm deathly curious. Is Black Label in a strip mall?

It seems everything off 'the strip' is in a strip! It seems strange to me that everything but houseing seems to be a part of a strip mall. But that's how the developers of the town wanted it, I suppose...

could you imagine: a strip club, off the strip, in a strip.

wow. and better yet, a stripper in said strip club.

That is meta.

And yes, I can imagine it. And it is imaginably sad.

lol, no, it's not *in* a strip mall (the way the main club in Sacramento, is *in* a strip mall, but it's in it's own building in a strip mall parking lot

So, yes, it's in a strip mall. Being in its own building in a parking lot is still a part of the strip-mall construction model.

But yeah, you're right, I suppose it is better than being next to a fast-food Chinese restaurant and an Albertson's. Instead, though, it is across the lot.

[eyes roll]

How the fuck are you guys going to survive the oil apocalypse there?

On (my?) snobbiness on strip malls:

It was funny when I asked my coworkers to join us at Natalie's work. They were like 'blah blah, so far, nowheresville, etc.'. Yet, when we joined them in their 'cooler neighbourhood' it was exactly the same as everywhere else. Three strip malls and a housing development at every corner. What's the diff?

Being I'm moving back there tomorrow, once my car makes it out that way I'll have to swing by. :)
