Grrr

Contemplating some serious mp3 maintenance on the collection. . . serioiusly time consuming annoyingly anal mantineance, requiring re-ripping grr. . .

But first I need to get one of these

If there is one thing the mixed in key software does for me, is identify MP3's with errors in them. They won't process, and the resulting files are a pain in my anal rententive orgizational ADD inflcited mind. . .

if they don't read, what's wrong with them?

the files read, and play ok in winamp, but the ID3 files have issues being written, and mixed in key can't analyze them for key or BPM. Re-encoding the files generally fixes this.

that's interesting.
cuz sometimes it'll only happen to one track from a CD i ripped. and sometimes it'll happen to a whole cd i ripped.

i guess the itunes ripper thing sucks.

*NOT* a fan of the itunes ripper. I use nero's built in ripper, + the lame plugin. Works pretty damn well.

Have you had any luck with Rapid Evolution, its supposed to be a shareware alternative to MixedInkey?
