Tomorrow. . .

I get to go to Guitar Center and meet with the guy who will be finalizing the deal for my DJM-800 with. . .

I will be picking it up by the end of next week, as soon as my tax return trickles into my bank account, I decided 14.95 was worth the cost to have it back in 9 days, rather than some random time next month. . .

Hopefully far_and_distant is feeling better will be able to ship the 1st CDJ-1000 and it will have arrived by then. . .

Did you try the Vegas Sam Ash? The thing being, we usually try to help out friends with whatever they need, etc. And well, I do somewhat consider you a friend. My boyfriend, elektrovst, said he could see if the store has one in stock (we have access to their computers) and see what he can do for you. If you are indeed happy with what GC can and will do for you, remember we are here for you in the future. You can always shoot me an email or a text :)

I know for a fact that the Vegas Sam Ash does not have it. They literally have the worse "Dj" section I have EVER seen, in any music store. . Literally, I've seen Radio shack's with better selections of gear. I almost asked if they wanted to hire someone who knew SOMETHING about the technology to consult on what they should get.

I do appreciate the offer and I will keep it in mind, and no offense against your workplace, the guy at the counter commiserated with me when I mentions the lack of well, anything. . .

Vegas isn't my favourite store in the chain (I can tolerate their CSM and GM), but we do and can transfer merchandise from one store to the next. The last time I saw that store it had just changed to Sam Ash from whatever it was before, and I have yet to step foot in it and see what they actually have. Good thing being, the stores I am used to going to are well-stocked and willing to help you get what you need and get it to you when you need it. We also price match and discount gear, just like GC.
I really can't say much about the people they hire. I will bring it up next time I talk to the store (like tomorrow) and suggest they definitely get someone in there who has half a braincell. Maybe not for your sake, but for the sake of anyone else who might be interested in buying something.

Keep us in mind for future reference. Just because that store doesn't have it doesn't mean we can't get it to you. And with Eric working on it, you will get it and on time. ;)
