Things I love about Las Vegas. . .

Was talking with my Dad last night. . . after getting home, we were watching the news and there was a story about a jewelry store owner who shot and critically wounder a would be robber, it seems that about a month ago, he shot and killed a robber, no charges were filed. Nevada is a self defense state, and according to the DA. . .

"A person is justified in using deadly force when they are in actual and reasonable fear of death or substantial bodily harm," said District Attorney David Roger.

There have been 4 Self Defense Shootings in the last month in Las Vegas. No charges have been pressed.

I really don't have a problem with this.

I believe Colorado has the same law.

Actually, they have the "Make My Day" law, which states "citizens of Colorado have a right to expect absolute safety within their own homes." Meaning, someone climbs in your window in the middle of the night or comes into your home uninvited period, well...you get the idea.
