Helping Devoid install XP on his new Box. Its being a pain in the ass and I'm not 100% sure why. Waiting for it to finnish formating the c: drive so we can try the installation directly from the hard drive as it kept failing from the CD.

What is it giving you for an error. Is it giving an error or freezing.

It gives an error. Something about the installation being terminated to prevent damage to the machine. I hate trying to install software on a machine that was built from parts I had no input the purchase of.

When I put together a machine for someone there is never an issue like this one.

Here's the odd thing, we couldnt get it to install on a FAT32 base with his box. I had to format the drive in NTFS and the istallation is now going without a hitch.

That is odd.
The only two things I can think of are. 1. The Type and Data Rate on the IDE cable. Or 2. The Fat 32 Partition Table was fucked. if you ever need parts let me know I still get them at wholsale cost. My friend peter just moved down to LA were the company is that I get my parts. So I know get there discount and his Employee discount. Muwahhhh.
