anyone who doesn't use propaganda to their advantage will be labelled terrorists, monsters, perpetrators of genocide, jackals, demons, devils, yellow bastards, huns...

propaganda
go team human!
pretty fucked up to use death of children as propaganda, but still doesn't justify the act of killing them in the first place. The exploitation is disgusting and unforgiveable, making them dead in the first place however is far worse.
maybe a large enough natural disaster would make the survivors figure out how to get along...although I have my doubts, it appears the whole region has devolved into base.
clearly their sandbox has turned into one giant kitty litter box, and they all need to take their shovels and pails, go home and wash the feces off.

Re: propaganda
I suggest reading the comments section on the article. Seem that the Green Helmet Guy was also at the 1996 Quana bombing (believed by many to be orchistrated by Hezbollah to prevent their disarmament) involved in a lot of other staged photos.

That article is weak. He's clearly just trying to normalize a civilian massacre by attacking a photographic strawman. You can criticize how pictures of civilian fatalities are taken and used, but that doesn't make those fatalities disappear or absolve anybody of complicity in them.

**shrugs** nor does it absolve the photojournalist who's job it is to take candid (non staged) photos of the responsibility for obviously staging shots and willfully becoming a tool of Hezbollah.

Yes, it's horrible that Hezbollah chooses to make it's fortifications, and hideout's in the midst of people's apartment buildings and living spaces, choosing to use them as a human shield and betting that Israel won't take the risk of bombing civillians to take out their targets. But they are the ones responsible when that bluff get's called.
