Backpeice update. . .

The red nasty looking spot in the middle on the left is where they removed the mole, and then the sutures were not left long enough and it opened up and is now healing from the bottom up.

Ooh that reminds me of a question I wanted to ask the tat place. Who removed your mole? Did you have to get it removed? I have two in the path of where my tat will be filled in .... do you think I should go get them removed now?

Great topic of discussion, eh? heh.

Talk to a Dr. Most tatoo places will not tatoo over an existing mole. My Dr. took one look at the mole and recomended taking it out and having it biopsied. It came back all clear but it was a little unnerving.

Yeah I think I will. I just find it odd that my tattoo guy never mentioned them being in the way, you know?

He did tattoo over another one, but that one was fairly flat.

I remember when I was in highschool I begged my mom to pay for the removal of one on my shoulder, saying that I was ashamed of it and I really needed it gone. I was already planning, however, to get a tattoo on my arm, and although it doesn't go over it, I just thought it would look better with a clean arm ;-)

If you look back through my posts over the last couple of months you can see the evolution from outline to this via hand poke fill in.

I kinda like the little spot of red. Do you think your artist will just put a dot of red in when you're all healed?

Ya know, that is coming along pretty damn amazing!

I've been falling behind in my lj reading so this is the first time I've caught a pic.

Just too bad! You could've added it to whatever slime collection you may be keeping now.
