Feh. . . Women. . .

This is something that has been rolling around in my head for about a year now, but its finally begun to crystalize into a concrete idea, Women, the crazy ones should be tagged and tracked with color coded ear tags, like wild animals, as fair warning, for the young buck interested in them. This is the level and type of "issue" this one has, can you deal with it?  Still need to work out a color coding scheme. But it would have to be easily recognizable.

P.S. My dad is already trying to hook me up with the daughters of his friends who are my age.

You've been involved in the goth/industrial scene for how long?

If this post wasn't so obviously offensive I would point out the use of subcultures, faux-subversive fashion, and other so-called "alternative" external methods of defining the sheep from the not-so-sheep-but-have-issues.

Those that are retarded to social growth will ALWAYS make themselves known within society. This includes males and females.

LOL, I've been involved in the Goth/Industrial Scene for over 10 years and that's a huge part of my point.

This isnt a sheep Vs not-sheep argument or discussion or necessarily a subcultural issue.

This is a crazy bitch vs sane emotionally healthy broad issue. The crazies are everywhere and they're MORE concentrated in the Goth Industrial Scene, it seems to attract them. The fact that I've only met about 3 emotionally healthy females (That I'm sure of and would trust) in the Scene in 10 years just illustrates my point even more. Everybody has baggage, thats an accepted fact. But the people in the scene are all fucked.

Agreed. Sheep vs. not-so-sheep was not my point, either. However, social outcasts, the emotionally stunted, and those with issues (and the fact that they are both female AND male), was. I won't even get into the offensive female objectification you alluded to in your post.

10 years is a long time to be involved in a "scene" and I'm willing to bet that the majority of your adult experience with women has been while you were involved in one subculture or another, right? Drama is an essential ingredient to any club scene, especially one that breed on self-hate and drama. Not exactly ideal for attracting "sane emotionally healthy broads". My point being that people mark themselves as "crazy bitches" externally ALL THE TIME (gauged out ears, tattoos - regardless of how trend driven, clothing that screams, "Look at me! I'm an outcast that doesn't need your attention! LOOK! AT! ME!) and if that's the kind of women you're looking for - good luck in finding her in THAT social gene pool.

Point Taken. But I'm going to wallow in my pointed female objectification for a while, I've just been put through one hell of an emotional wringer and to do anything other than that right now is to invide all kinds of fucked up things in to my life, things which would be far more damaging to me and mine that a little harmless venting and objectification.

Isn't "crazy" a fairly subjective term?

Who decides if a person is crazy, in what way, and to what degree?

I agree, but D also has a point ... crazy to some could be perfect to others.

A similar idea, but for different effect, is one I thought up a while ago. When one person is attracted to another, a red arrow should pop up above their head which is only visible to the person they're staring at. It would make meeting people a hell of a lot easier, and you could always avoid said person if you didn't like them, because you never know how many other people they're staring at ...

True true, what I would like to see, is blackberry or bluetooth devices, that you can program in with your likes and dislikes, fetishes, what you will and won't do, etc, and then be able to be at a club/party/whatever, and if someone who matches the criteria you are looking for shows up, the device alerts you.

I've read about this kind of stuff before but can't find the link off hand.

I would really love to know beforehand if my date is psycho perv or not.

Would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

P.S. My dad is already trying to hook me up with the daughters of his friends who are my age.

Tell him you prefer much older women. They don't tell, they don't swell, and they're grateful as hell, etc. Have him fix you up with some of HIS friends.

Or you could tell him you prefer much younger, but he might have you carted off to prison. Which would be bad.
