yeah, the motherfuckers kept the drive i RMAed because the post office got it there one day late (because of the holiday), so they cancelled the order for the refirbished drive. nothing i can do about it except be really pissed and buy a WESTERN DIGITAL drive.

I almost exclusively use Western Digital now. I've only had 1 drive fail out of at least 10 of their drives I've used over the last 8 years... though one, that I bought back in '00, it starting to show signs it may be on it's last legs.

I'm with ben, I have a combination of WD drives and Seagate Drives, the seagates have been steaming piles of crap, the WD drives have always been solid. I was hoping with the Acquisition of Quantum by seagate several years ago, the seagate dribes would be a bit better, but I'm back fully in the WD camp.
